2. The Fugitive: This movie is a story about a respected medical practitioner Dr. Richard Kimble who is accused falsely and convicted for killing his wife. Circumstances give Kimble the opportunity to escape from the prison and prove his innocence. Tommy Lee Jones and Harrison Ford have acted brilliantly in this movie. I will give a seven out of 10 in terms of my category of review on best adventure movies.

3. The Curse of the Black Pearl – Pirates of the Caribbean: Well this movie is in the list just because it did manage to bring the pirate adventure movies to the mainstream cinema after a gap of almost more than a decade. However, I also believe that the movie without Geoffrey Rush and Johny Depp would not have been that meaningful. The story of the movie was something like this: Will Turner and Captain Jack Sparrow need to work together to form and unlikely partnership to face a group of cursed pirates whose leader was treacherous Captain Barbossa. Though, both Turner and Sparrow had different goals, while Turner wanted to rescue her girlfriend, Jack wanted his black peal back. I will definitely give a nine out of 10 in terms of my category of review on best adventure movies.

Even though the truth may be evil and scary but Owen is very eager to find out the secret of his new friend.

“Let Me in” is a story about loneliness and not entirely a vampire horror flick which may disappoint some viewers. Mostly the main characters are put into focus and others are just in the background such as the residents living in their apartment or Owen’s mother. However the remake does not lose any scene which would makes it less interesting than the original thanks to the brilliant director who has handled the transition so creatively and intelligently! Many scenes are identical and the ones which have been changed have been done so for further improvement.

Another strong point of “Let Me in” is that it is shot with creative camera angles which fascinate the viewers and some scenes particularly the car accident is entirely unforgettable. So far, “Let Me in”, is one of the best remakes for horror film lovers and a story that attracts your attention and keeps you glued to the screen throughout, till the end.

Cast includes Emma Stone, Penn Badgley, Amanda Bynes, Dan Byrd, Thomas Haden Church, Patricia Clarkson, Stanley Tucci, Lisa Kudrow, Alyson Michalka, Cam Gigandet, Malcolm McDowell, Fred Armisen. Emma Stone gives a breakthrough performance in this fun filled, witty, clever and entertaining comedy flick which turns out to be one of the best high school comedies after a long time.

Emma Stone plays Olivea young pretty woman but an ordinary high school student who goes unnoticed by boys and is simply anonymous around school. So in order to spice up her mediocre life she spreads a lie through her best friend about losing her virginity with a fictional college student. Very soon everyone comes to know about Emma’s sexual escapade and to make it worse a gay classmate asks her to help him out.
Olive agrees and pretends to have sex with him to save her gay friend from being bullied but by doing this favour she ends up ruining her reputation as a Slut! This eventually turns into a full-fledged business beneficial for Olive and get her enough attention. Olive then decides to use her sexuality without shame, dresses up in revealing clothes wearing a red A on her chest. However, the glamour and rumours soon come to an end, and Olive confesses without any shame that she is a virgin.

Easy A is gives the moral messageabout both having sex or not having it, in the end concluding “Sleep with whoever you want but just keep it to yourself.” It may not be the most revolutionary message, but will definitely leave a mark on the teenager’s minds not to engage in too much of Sex.

Emma Stone alone has given a wonderful performance and carries “Easy A” on her own but not forgetting the wonderful supporting cast like Stanley Tucci and Patricia Clarkson who play Olive’s parents. It would be difficult to find a misfit loner as confident as her but Oliver is so smart and funny that anyone can relate to her easily. Her facial expressions and comic timings are superb and make us hope that we will see more of this talented young actress playing charming and intelligent rolesin the future. Everything about this movie has a meaningful and distinct look. The script is well written and directed superbly by Gluck. The sets give a bright and warm feel even though the subject matter of the film is bold and controversial. “Easy A” is a must watch indeed and gives a message to those teenagers who do not fit in their surroundings, to just do what they think is right and not get carried away in order to attract attention or gain reputation!

“Case 39”, a horror flick of 2009 directed by Christian Alvart, is one movie which will scare the wits out of its viewers even though it has a very predictable plot. The rest of the cast has Renee Zellweger, Jodelle Ferland, Ian Mcshane, and Bradley Cooper. Case 39 is a psychological suspense thriller which eventually transforms into a horror film, such that it creates fear in the mind of the viewers throughout, thus making it a must watch!

In “Case 39”, Emily Jenkins (Renee Zellweger) is a social worker who is over worked and over loaded with investigative cases. She feels strongly for children and is very serious about her work and the cases she gets to investigate upon. One of the cases titled “Case 39”, leads her to a ten year old Lilith (Jodelle Ferland) who is trapped in her own house and her parents who she says are trying to kill her by roasting her in the oven!
Thus Emily manages to rescue the girl away from her parents and takes Lilith into her own care by signing up as her foster mother to provide her a better home not knowing that there is more to Lilith than she observed. But once the little girl moves in with Emily things don’t go exactly as planned; people start dying in the most mysterious ways and Lillith’s parents who have been jailed proclaim it to be the work of their so called innocent daughter.
“Case 39”, is very much similar to the movie TheOrphan which is also about a little child who makes life miserable for those around her and there is no way to get rid of her!

“Case 39”, does not have a very unique plot but what works here is the cinematography, sound effects and the performances. All actors especially child artist Jodelle Ferland is great and plays her role with conviction. Renee Zellweger has always been a superb actor and it’s refreshing to see her in a horror thriller after ages. She also does a splendid job in this film.
This movie may seem to have a lazy script at some points but still bound to test one’s fear , leaving you scared and on the edge of your seat till the end. That is why children and heart patients have been warned before watching “Case 39”. This film drains you mentally and shocks you psychologically. So, staying away is a good option. But if you like horror movies and enjoyed the Orphan and others you must also include this one in your list of thrillers!

The director David Fincher and the screenwriter of the movie, Aaron Sorkin (who created “The West Wing”) adapted Mezrich’s book. The main cast Mark, played by Jesse Eisenberg, is portrayed in the movie like a hero in a geek’s costume. This geek made an extraordinary change in a lifetime.
