Tekken is a film about martial arts. It is to be released in 2010. This movie is directed by Dwight Little and it is based on a game series called Tekken. This movie follows Jin Kazema, who wishes to enter Iron Fist Tournament so as to avenge loss of his dearest mother, Jun. He through that his grandfather had the responsibility for his mother’s death. Therefore, he decided to work very hard in training himself to be professional fighter so that he could take revenge.

Winner of Iron Fist Tournament would be the King of it and he would be able to enjoy a stardom and wealth for a lifetime. Therefore, Jin had to overcome challenges from various parties and the road for him to become successful is never smooth. He had to overcome plenty of hardships in order to win eventually. He was raised by his dearest mother Jun in a peaceful situation indeed.

In order to make sure that Jin could protect himself, Jun tried to train Jin with various kinds of martial arts. Jun treated Jin very well but she never told Jin anything about his father. She just told Jin that his father was dead. Whenever Jin tried to ask his mother things related to his father, his mother would end the conversation by simply saying ‘that is all’.

During the crackdown of Tekken City’s slum area, Jin’s mother was killed. After the death of his mother, Jin was very frustrated and he felt guilty for the death of her mother. In the ruins of his home, he found the Tekken Fighter I.D. which belongs to her mother.

With this I.D., Jin gradually discovered many facts that he had never known. And he understood many things that he had never thought of. He found information about his father as well as grandfather and he discovered that he had to work hard in the Tournament in order to take the things that he need in order to make her dead mother feel good. Therefore, he utilized his best martial arts skills to fight and worked very hard in the process.

If you have played the game series of Tekken before, you may understand the plot easily and you would not need to spend a lot of time on catching up with the plot at the beginning of this movie.

Of course, even though you did not play this game before you could still handle the plot of this movie. It is because the director of this movie used the perspective of a beginner of Tekken to make this movie. All things would be introduced in this movie and you would not find it hard to follow everything in this movie. For people who are used to watch movies about how a good son fights for his mother, this movie would be their favorite.

Inevitably, there would be plenty of fighting scenes in this movie. And you may find that it is hard to tolerate some of the bloody scenes. If you hate blood and bloody scenes in movie, this movie may not be suitable.

“The Social Network”, one of the new movies this 2010, is about the real story behind the most popular social networking site at this present time, “Facebook”. It is about the story of Mark Zuckerberg, an ordinary Harvard student who is now one of the richest multi-billionaire teen in the world. The story is a little bit related to Ben Mezrich’s nonfiction book, “The Accidental Billionaires”. The story though really sounds amazing, in my opinion, it is just concerned with marketing strategies and commerce of the Facebook enterprise.
The director David Fincher and the screenwriter of the movie, Aaron Sorkin (who created “The West Wing”) adapted Mezrich’s book. The main cast Mark, played by Jesse Eisenberg, is portrayed in the movie like a hero in a geek’s costume. This geek made an extraordinary change in a lifetime.

2003, fall season. Mark was dumped by his girlfriend and moves into Harvard dormitory to think about things. He wants to get over his ex-girlfriend so he began hacking the university’s computers and created the site Facemash: a database site exclusively for Harvard and it is about all the women inside the campus. Photos are all lined-up and each two girls are to be chosen which one is hotter. The site became so popular inside Harvard and the entire system crashed because of all the network traffic.
From these, Facebook was born. Going outside Harvard and is spreading quickly over the worldwide web. Facebook became a global phenomenon. While Mark, drops out of college when he was sophomore and run the business in California. Facebook’s co-founder Eduardo Saverin, portrayed by Andre Garfield, sued him claiming that Mark stole his idea of Facebook. The story was plotted safely to avoid suing the filmmakers from anyone who’s involved.
‘The Social network” tells how Mark really wants some friends. I mean, “real friends”. He would not have invented Facebook if he didn’t felt the need of friends that time. Now in this present time, due to his outstanding records known as “multi-billionaire teen”, he has actually has a lot of friends. We can actually relate this in Facebook.
The story is pretty amazing, heartwarming and you will be fascinated how an ordinary teen changed his life. The actors were great as if they were really involved. The lines were amazing and the cinematography is very good. “The Social Network” is may be one of the best films in 2010. It is one of the first films that have captured the impact of how the internet affects our everyday lives. After you see this movie, you’ll be talking about it this one for days. I’m really sure you’ll be posting this movie in your very own Facebook account.
This film is released on October 1. It is Rated PG-13 for its sexual content as well as for its language, drugs and alcohol use. Two thumbs up for this film!
